Cafferty & Company is a unique specialized consultancy providing independent advisory services in connection with a wide variety of debt financing transactions.
We help our early, expansion and later-stage clients secure optimal financing solutions structured to meet their unique requirements and objectives. Our highly honed expertise and impeccable reputation have made Cafferty & Company a highly sought after resource by venture-backed companies and their investors, and a well regarded industry insider by funding partners.
Over nearly two decades, Cafferty & Company has forged a prominent position at the forefront of independent advisory services for debt financing. We have a deep appreciation for the entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion to help our client teams secure the financing they need to enhance liquidity, to extend runway to their next critical milestone, and to fuel their continued success.
Cafferty & Company has earned a trusted reputation with many of today’s top venture capital and private equity firms. Our clients value the insight and perspective that comes from working with scores of domestic and international companies across all market segments and a wide range of transactional requirements. This powerful combination of objectivity and a broader market perspective provides an invaluable edge in securing the optimal financing solution — and securing the confidence of stakeholders.
Understanding organizational dynamics can be just as important to financing success as knowing the pulse of the market. We understand the internal pressures associated with conducting high stakes financing transactions. As part of our process, we help facilitate internal discussions, present to executive staff and board members, and work with funding partners to evolve a financing structure that meets the unique needs of each individual client.
As experienced business advisors who understand the broader sensitivities of fundraising, we build long-term relationships with our clients and bring an innovate approach to the financing process. We cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a broad set of funding sources and have a constant pulse on the market. We do not compromise the process to close deals faster at the expense of finding the right terms and fit for your company. Instead, we evaluate each requirement individually, and present the best financing options to meet your immediate and longer-term objectives.
We are committed to a simple but very powerful philosophy: client satisfaction is the most important metric of success. We are known for the deep relationships we develop with our clients and are very often re-engaged to address follow-on requirements as our clients progress through different stages of growth and their financing needs change. As a result, we have a global client base built entirely on referrals from highly satisfied client teams.
We can say with confidence that there is no commodity process that will guarantee success on any given engagement.
Instead, we believe a fluid and flexible approach is essential to meeting clients exactly where they are in the financing process so we can work to a mutually agreed upon set of objectives and exceed expectations along the way.
At the same time, there are certainly best practice principles with which we conduct all engagements with and on behalf of our clients. The breadth and depth of our client engagements enable us to understand short-term needs, while maintaining a long-term view of the best funding strategies for each client. And, with the intense pressures associated with meeting critical financing milestones, one of the strengths that we bring to each client engagement is the ability to integrate with your internal team, while maintaining an independent view and the role of an objective expert advisor.
We work on all types of debt financing requirements at every stage of development including:
• Term loans – senior secured, mezzanine, subordinated, etc.
• Asset based lending – working capital lines of credit; formula-based revolvers; etc.
• Capital equipment financing
• Combination facilities
• Acquisition and project financing
• Partial or full refinancing
• Other specialized requirements
